Scripture tells us, “Ask and it will be given to you; search, and you will find; knock and the door will be open for you. Everyone who asks receives, and everyone who searches finds; for everyone who knocks the door will be opened ” That’s Matthew 7:7 and 8. Miracles are within our grasp every day.
As I sat in Bible study yesterday, I realized my wedding band of 52 years was not on my hand. After 60 minutes of distraction, I explained my situation and dismissed myself early. My friend Abel and his son Adam followed me outside to my vehicle. While Abel and I searched outside, his son searched the inside. We found nothing. After a minute or two, Abel’s daughter texted us to report she reviewed door camera film and could see that the ring was not on my hand when I arrived.
As I drove home, I asked God to give me the guidance I needed to lead me to the lost ring. I found it on the rug in my bedroom. If you ever lost a small object like a ring, you know that it takes a miracle to find it. I thanked God.
Ask, and it will be given to you.
Search, and you will find.
Knock, and the door will be opened for you.
